May the peace of Christ be with you.
My name is Brother John Paul. I am a religious brother serving in a private religious association, living according to the Rule and spirit of Saint Augustine. I write to you with humility, hope, and a sincere invitation to join me in a mission very close to my heart: supporting the children and orphans of Bolivia through Saint James Institute.
My connection with Bolivia began in a simple and providential way. Through my virtual assistant, I was invited to attend a wedding in Bolivia. From that experience, I came to know the beauty of Bolivian culture, the warmth of its people, and also the hardship faced by many children, especially orphans and underserved youth who lack access to quality education, career training, and stable guidance.
Moved by their needs, I began working to create opportunities for these children. With the help of generous partners, we have received support from educational institutions willing to offer discounted training programs for orphans. The Archdiocese of Santa Cruz has generously allowed us the use of one of its properties to help house and care for the children. We have hired dedicated staff to accompany them, provide guidance, and help prepare them for a brighter future.
The vision of Saint James Institute is to build a bridge between Bolivia and the United States. Our goal is to provide first-class education, vocational training, leadership formation, and spiritual mentorship for Bolivian orphans and underserved youth. We hope to offer opportunities for qualified students to come to the United States as international students, receive professional training, and return to Bolivia equipped to serve their families, communities, and nation. Where permitted by U.S. immigration laws and educational programs, some students may also have the opportunity to establish a new life in the United States after completing their education.
Today, I humbly invite you to become part of this mission.
We would be honored if you would consider serving on the Board of Saint James Institute, helping us provide hope and opportunity for Bolivia’s most vulnerable children. If serving on the Board is not possible, your financial support, professional advice, introductions to other philanthropists, corporate partnerships, scholarship sponsorships, or any other assistance you believe could help would be deeply appreciated.
The needs are immense, but together, through faith, compassion, and generosity, we can make a lasting difference—one child, one family, and one community at a time.
As we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America, we thank Almighty God for the blessings of living in a nation of freedom, opportunity, and prosperity. We also recognize that these blessings carry with them a responsibility to care for those who have fewer opportunities. God has entrusted us with much so that we may generously share with those in need.
I respectfully ask you to prayerfully consider joining us in this mission of hope. Together, we can transform lives through education, faith, and opportunity.
