June 2026 brought opportunities to accompany young adults and strengthen the foundations of our work in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. This issue of Walking with Hope shares the everyday efforts behind that mission—from vocational guidance and shared responsibilities to community relationships and institutional development.
Exploring educational paths
Vocational workshops with young people from Hogar Mercado Aguado encouraged reflection on their talents, future goals, and opportunities for further education.
Building a network of support
The team developed relationships with organizations and local professionals, including arrangements for psychological support through CEMSE and optometric care from local doctors.
Growing through community life
At Casa St. James, students continued sharing household responsibilities and formation activities. Dialogue, patience, and mutual respect remained central to learning how to live together.
Strengthening the institution
Work on a new accounting system focused on clearer records, better reporting, and responsible administration. The team also presented a progress report to the Vicar General and continued improvements to the house.
The issue outlines hopes to welcome more students, expand educational opportunities, strengthen relationships, and continue preparing Casa St. James for its mission.
Thank you to everyone who accompanied this work through prayer, encouragement, generosity, and collaboration.
