Stewardship and accountability
Find public updates, learn how contributions support the mission and explore the people and policies behind our work. St. James Institute’s Catholic apostolate in Bolivia is still developing, and our reporting is growing alongside it.
Our newsletters and mission updates offer a view of community life, activities and current needs. They provide context for the work; they are not audited financial statements.

Ask about documentationContributions help sustain education, personal guidance and community life. The Donation Terms explain giving arrangements, accepted designations, recurring gifts and questions about a contribution.
Unrestricted gifts support our charitable mission, including educational programs, student support and the reasonable administration and fundraising costs that sustain the work.
Use an option expressly offered by an approved campaign, or discuss a specific restriction with our team before donating. A note on a standard gift does not by itself establish an accepted restriction.
Giving methods, currencies, fees and recipient arrangements can differ. Follow the instructions for the method you choose and verify the recipient before confirming your gift.
Meet the people guiding the mission and coordinating its daily work. Leadership and staff connect St. James’ Catholic purpose with practical decisions and the needs of young adults.
The Board helps guide the mission’s direction and stewardship, contributing perspective on priorities, resources and long-term development.
Explore the Board’s roleOur staff coordinates the work in Bolivia, accompanying young adults and developing the relationships and practical support needed to sustain the mission.
Meet our staffOur Impact shares the early foundations of St. James and the progress young adults work toward. As reporting develops, we aim to describe results with dates, context and clear definitions.
Distinguish participation during a defined period from the total number of people reached over time, and explain what support was agreed.
Consider enrollment, continuation of studies, qualifications and suitable work or training experiences, with the circumstances behind each step.
Look at practical goals such as study routines, budgeting, savings and shared responsibilities, alongside young adults’ own perspectives.
These are areas we aim to bring together in future reporting. They describe the progress we work toward and do not promise a particular outcome for every participant.
Clear information also means protecting people, respecting personal boundaries and providing ways to raise questions or concerns.
